Nulaxy C5 Review: Height, Stability and Desk Fit
Adjusting for seated and standing work
The C5’s 1.2-to-20-inch lift range is its defining practical feature. It can position a laptop screen for different desk heights, and the pull handle is intended to make shifts between sitting and standing quicker.
The raised screen may also make a separate keyboard and mouse useful for sustained typing.
Fit and load capacity
The stand is designed for laptops from 10 to 17 inches and supports up to 22 pounds. Check that your laptop falls within both limits, especially if you use a larger model or add weight to the platform.
Desk footprint and storage
Foldability and no-setup use make the C5 easier to put away when the desk needs to be cleared.
Its 4.16-pound weight matters if you plan to carry it regularly, so it is better suited to a mostly fixed home or office workstation than a lightweight travel kit.
Panel and contact points
The aluminum panel has ventilation holes intended to help with heat dissipation, and rubber pads plus two pivot joints promote stability.
These are useful design choices for a desk riser, while the stand’s height and tilt should still be adjusted carefully to suit the workstation.
